New Delhi: Coronavirus cases are increasing continuously across the country. Due to this, the government has announced the third phase of lockdown even before Lockdown 2.0 is over. The number of corona patients in the country has reached beyond 37 thousand. According to the data released by the Health Ministry, 2293 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, which is the highest as compared to the daily figures to date.  71 people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours.

37 thousand 336 cases of corona have been registered in the country. Of which 26 thousand 167 are total active cases. The number of those who died has increased to 1218 while 9951 people have recovered and gone home. The thing that gives relief among them is that the speed of recovery of patients is increasing very fast. Right now, patients are recovering at the rate of 26.64 percent.

Corona attacks in China, patients found without symptoms

In view of the increasing cases of the corona, the lockdown has been extended once again for 2 weeks across the country. Now Lockdown 3.0 will continue till May 17. On May 3, the second phase of the lockdown was coming to an end. According to the corona infection, the country has been divided into three zones. In the Green and Orange zones, the government has given many reliefs, but in the Red Zone, there will be strictness even further. Air-rail-metro services will be completely closed.
