Imphal: COVID-19 cases are continuously increasing in India. People are not following physical distancing and not even wearing masks. Crowd gather in the markets and other places and the risk of COVID-19 increases equally. The cases of COVID-19 have also increased in Manipur. There are 177 new COVID-19 cases. There has also been one death in the last 24 hours. It was reported that the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state has gone up to 8607.

According to the data, 90 recoveries were also recorded in the state on Friday. The total count of cases in the state includes 1,926 active cases, 6,629 people recovered and 52 died. The Health Department said that the state's recovery rate is 77.01 per cent. In the country, the statistics of COVID-19 virus infections are increasing rapidly.
