Agra: Corona has put every state of the country in a terrible state. Meanwhile, the outbreak of COVID-19 in Agra did not stop. On Sunday, 29 new corona infected patients were found. With this, the figure of total corona infects has reached 1870. So far 100 infected have died, while 1,475 infected have recovered and gone home.

DM Prabhu N Singh said in his statement, 29 new corona infected have been found on Sunday. The total number of infected has reached 1870. There have also been 17 new patient discharges. Now the number of infected patients recovering from COVID-19 is 1475. 295 patients are being treated. Explaining further, the DM said, so far, the number of infected dead has been 100. Samples of 54,960 people have been tested in the city. In the last 24 hours, 2,018 samples have been tested, 243 containment zones have been closed.

Despite the increase in the number of newly infected patients, the containment zones are decreasing. Till Sunday, 243 containment zones were closed in the city. There are currently 91 Containment Zones active. So far 334 Containment Zones have been formed in Agra. Dr. Sanjay Kala, Principal of SN Medical College, was among the infected found on Sunday in Tajanagari. On discovering this, the doctors and staff in contact with him have been quarantined. Samples of all will be taken on Monday. DM Prabhu N Singh and SSP had the test done on Sunday itself. The report has come negative. The cases of corona in the city are continuously increasing.
