Patna: Corona has once again created an atmosphere of fear in India. Corona cases are on the rise in all the states. Meanwhile, coronavirus has also engulfed doctors in Bihar. In fact, the annual function of the Indian Medical Association was held in Bihar on December 28. Corona infection has been confirmed among 17 doctors of Nalanda Medical College and Hospital who attended the function. The special thing is that CM Nitish Kumar also attended the function.

This has been confirmed by the Nalanda Medical College itself. The college administration informed that the antigen report of 17 doctors attending the function has been positive. Thereafter, an RT-PCR examination of all the doctors has been conducted, which is yet to be reported.

Many cases of the corona were reported in Bihar on the last day of the year. A total of 281 cases were confirmed in the state, out of which 136 were found infected in Patna alone. Apart from this, 70 cases were reported in Gaya and 10 in Munger. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced the beginning of the third wave of Corona in Bihar at this ceremony of IMA itself. In the last one week, the cases of corona are increasing rapidly in the state. At present, the number of infected in Bihar has increased to 749.
