More than 500 new cases of COVID19 reported Uttarakhand in one day

Dehradun: With the increase in testing in Uttarakhand, the cases of COViD19 are increasing at a high speed. On Monday, 592 new COVID-19 infected patients have been found. A new record has been made in the mortality rate of active patients. For the first time in 5 months, 12 infected people died on the same day. Today, 604 infected have been sent home after they recovered from coronavirus. The number of infected patients in the state is going to cross 20 thousand, as apprehended by the administration.

According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, on Monday, 10109 samples have been found negative. COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 592 samples. More COVID-19 patients have recovered from newly infected cases. Dehradun city has the highest number of 149 COVID-19 infected. In Haridwar 138, 99 in Nainital, 58 in Udham Singh Nagar, 52 in Tehri, 41 people in Uttarkashi were infected in the test. Sixteen COVID-19 infected patients have been found in Pauri and Champawat cities, 13-13, Almora 10, Rudraprayag 7, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh.

Today a patient has lost his life in Sushila Tiwari Medical College Haldwani, 7 in AIIMS Rishikesh, 4 in Doon Medical College. So far, 269 COVID-19 patients have died in the state. Out of total infected patients in the state, 13608 patients have become healthy. While 5887 active patients are under treatment. Simultaneously, the government has issued orders to all cities to treat COVID-19 infected patients admitted to Home Isolation and COVID Care Centers as per the treatment protocol issued by the Center. With this, there is a continuous increase in the cases of corona in the state.
