New Delhi: The coronavirus from China has engulfed the world. Even the prisoners in jail are not safe. The latest case pertains to Delhi's most secure Tihar jail. Former Bihar Bahubali MP Shahabuddin, who was jailed here, has received a corona test report positive.

According to media reports, the former MP was admitted to DDU hospital on Tuesday night after his condition deteriorated. According to Tihar administration, Shahabuddin is currently in a state of disrepair. According to media reports, more than 90 prisoners lodged in jail two days ago were diagnosed with virus infection. Earlier this month, more than 50 prisoners of Tihar Central Jail were found infected with corona. After which Tihar jail administration had sounded a high alert.

State that after the introduction of corona vaccination across the country, the process of administering corona vaccine to prisoners in Tihar Jail has also started. Meanwhile, prisoners are also facing a continuous lying infection.
