More than 1600 infected patients found in Punjab, know death toll

On Wednesday, 24 more patients died of Covid-19 in Punjab. The number of people who died from it in the state has reached 920. 1693 new cases have been registered in one day. In this way, 36083 people have been affected by this epidemic so far. On the other hand, 12460 patients have been kept in isolation wards in various hospitals of the state of which 398 patients are in critical condition.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, 941 patients were allowed to go to the residence when they were healthy. The number of those who beat Corona in the state has reached 22703. Samples of 819657 suspected patients have been taken so far in the state. According to the health department, 8 patients died in Ludhiana and 6 in Patiala on Wednesday, while 3 more in Jalandhar, Amritsar, Barnala, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ferozepur, Kapurthala, Mansa, 1–1 corona patients died in Pathankot.

During this time, 1693 new positive cases have been reported in the state. According to Health Department, 941 patients were cured on Wednesday, 281 of Jalandhar, 236 of Patiala, 170 of Mohali, 98 of Amritsar, 35 of Hoshiarpur, 23 of Pathankot, 18 of Mansa, 15 of Gurdaspur, 13 of Moga. 12 of Sangrur, 10 each of Barnala and Fazilka, 9 of Muktsar, 7 of Ferozepur, 4 patients of Fatehgarh Sahib are included. One patient died of coronavirus in Jalandhar on Wednesday. 192 people, including kidney transplant surgeons, have been found positive. The infected patients also include staff nurses of a hospital.
