New Delhi: Rising corona cases in the country have once again raised concerns. In the last 24 hours, 58,000 new corona cases have been reported in India, up 20,000 from tuesday morning's cases. 37,379 new cases were registered on Tuesday. On the other hand, the omicron variant of corona has also created panic among the people. In the last 24 hours, 243 new cases of omicron have been reported, taking the number of patients affected by the omicron variant to 2135.

The same country has reported 58,097 new cases of corona infection in the last 24 hours, which has cured only 15,389 patients. While 534 patients have died due to corona infection. Omicron cases have increased to 2135 in India, with 828 patients reported recovering. Coming to the states with the highest number of omicron cases, Maharashtra ranks number one with 653 infected, while the number of infected in Delhi, which is second, has reached 464. According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of patients undergoing corona treatment in the country has increased to 2,14,004. On the other hand, the number of infected people in the country increased to 350,18,358 after 58,097 new corona cases were reported in India in a day. However, after the death of 534 more patients, the number of deceased patients has increased to 4,82,551.
