Gurgaon: After the lockdown was lifted, the number of corona patients in the city has suddenly started increasing. On Wednesday, sixteen inmates of Bhondsi Jail and eighteen commandos posted in the Manesar NSG campus reported positive. Samples were taken from both the premises by the Health Department. Now, the work of sampling along with contract tracing has been continued when the corona report came positive. The jail and the NSG campus have been sanitized.

To prevent the coronavirus in Bhondsi Jail, the jail administration had also made a temporary jail in the city. After the corona examination of the accused, they were being kept in the same jail until the report came, so that no patient could spread the corona infection in the jail. The Health Department team took samples of 80 inmates with symptoms, so on Wednesday, sixteen reports have come positive. The Health Department team immediately started tracing other prisoners who came in contact with the positives.

The work of sampling has been continued. The prison management has kept silence as soon as such a number of inmates found infected in the jail and they are not ready to answer. Along with the jail, sample of a team of 44 commandos with symptoms was taken by the Health Department team from the NSG campus located in Manesar. Eighteen of these reports have come positive.
