New Delhi: The total number of infected cases has gone up to 3,13,71,901 in India after 39,742 new corona cases were reported in the last 24 hours. Also, after 535 new deaths, the total number of deaths has gone up to 4,20,551. The total number of discharges after 39,972 new discharges has gone up to 3,05,43,138. At present, the total number of active cases in the country is 4,08,212.

In India, 51,18,210 coronavirus vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours, taking the total immunization figure to 43,31,50,864. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 17,18,756 samples were tested for corona infection in India on Saturday, followed by a total of 45,62,89,567 samples by Saturday.

With this, the Union Health Ministry on Sunday informed that 45 states and Union Territories have so far been covered through all sources. More than 37 crores (45,37,70,580) vaccine doses have been provided and 11,79,010 more doses are in the pipeline. On the other hand, corona cases in Delhi, the capital of India, are continuously declining. According to a health bulletin issued on Saturday, not a single corona death has taken place in Delhi in the last 24 hours. 66 new corona cases were reported in Delhi on Saturday. The active cases in the state are only 587. According to the health bulletin, 52 patients have recovered from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Coming to active patients, there are now 587 active cases in Delhi.
