India is also at the forefront of finding a coronavirus vaccine. The trial of corona drug (COVAXIN) has started at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science PGIMS, Rohtak. Doctors have given the first dose of medicine to three healthy volunteers. There is no adverse effect on the health of any of them.

The drug regulator has allowed human trials for the first and second stages before DGCI. The permission for testing was given to 13 centers across the country including Rohtak PGI in Haryana. This drug has been prepared by Hyderabad-based pharma company Bharat Biotech and the information about the corona drug trial has been tweeted by Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij himself. He wrote that human trials with Bharat Biotech's Corona drug (COVAXIN) have started today at PGI Rohtak. Today it was tested on 3 people. All have tolerated the medicine very well. No adverse effects have occurred.

This drug (ICMR) and the National Institute of Virology Pune have been prepared jointly. Its pre-clinical trials have been successful. Trial on human trials has started on Friday. For this special test, Prof. Savita Verma of the Department of Pharmacology, PGIMS, Rohtak has been appointed as Principal Investigator, Coronna State Nodal Officer Dr. Dhruv Chaudhary and Community Department Dr. Ramesh Verma as Co-Investigators. It is expected that this drug may play an important role in the fight against Corona.
