Coronavirus is spreading faster than expected in India. Amid the impact of the virus, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday reviewed the preparations of the forces to deal with this huge crisis. The Defense Minister held a review meeting with CDS General Bipin Rawat, Ajay Kumar and the heads of the three services. During this, they discussed what else could be done in the fight against the coronavirus.

Regarding the matter, the Defense Ministry said that according to the data of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of coronavirus cases in India has increased to 649 and the death toll has risen to 13. At the same time, 42 people have been cured out of 649 cases.

For your information, let us tell you that earlier on Wednesday, General Bipin Rawat had said that the armed forces will have to work beyond their borders and help the country in the fight against the corona virus . In addition, the Indian Army headquarters in the iconic South Block Raisina Hills remained closed on Wednesday following a complete lockdown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the office functioning with around 20 percent of its staff.
