Jammu: High alert has been issued in Jammu and Kashmir regarding Coronavirus. Two police posts have been established at Lakhanpur and Qazigund. Where screening of passengers coming from outside has started. Special surveillance is being done for passengers coming from China, Iran, Italy, Hong Kong, Macau, France, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Australia and America. On Wednesday, more than a dozen people, including two tourists from Germany, were screened in Lakhanpur. However, the symptoms of coronavirus have not been found in any person.

According to the information received, the administrative responsibilities of all officers have been fixed by the General Administrative Department for the prevention of coronavirus in the state. Mission Director of NHM Bhupendra Kumar has been made the overall in charge. He will work under the supervision of the Financial Commissioner of Health and Medical Education Department. It has come to light that this Shafqat Khan has been made the nodal officer under the supervision of the overall charge. Divisional level Jammu and Kashmir will be in-charge overall. He will cooperate with the health directors. At the district level, the District Deputy Commissioner will be in charge and he will support the Chief Medical Officers.
