Dehradun: The government is considering to impose lockdown again in many states of the country due to Coronavirus. Meanwhile, in the case of COVID-19 in Uttarakhand, there is a continuous increase. In view of this, the government has declared a lockdown in four big districts on Friday for two days, Saturday and Sunday. The same has been clarified in an order implemented late last night by state Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh.

These four big cities Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, Udhamsingh Nagar will be locked on Saturday and Sunday but the essential services will continue. However, this lockdown will not affect large businesses. People coming from airplanes and trains will also not be prevented from going to the destination in any way. Earlier, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat told in a discussion with reporters here that in view of the increasing cases of COVID-19 infection, a lockdown is being declared on Saturday and Sunday.

CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said, "Yesterday suddenly 200 cases came in which increased further till late night. There is only one solution for this. That the gap be created and the transition cycle is broken. There was also a demand of traders that the market should be opened only for five days and the situation is also saying the same. Lockdown is being done only on Saturday and Sunday.” Sanitizing is also essential to reduce the corona case. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be time for lockdown. It is very important to control in the growing cases of Corona.
