There is a turnover of 30 thousand crores annually, in which medicines worth 15 thousand crores are exported. Bulk drug dealers, including pharmaceutical companies in the country, have a nominal stock of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Currently, 67 types of APIs are supplied from China. Apart from this, if the situation in China does not improve, then forcing industries will have to get the raw material from Europe. The same raw material coming from Europe is expensive, which will also increase the prices of medicines manufactured here.
