Cases of corona infection are increasing in the country, due to which the central government is constantly demanding from the states to take precautions. In the last 24 hours, there has been an increase in the number of new cases of the corona. According to data released by the Central Health Department on Sunday, 25,320 new cases of covid-19 infection have been recorded in India in the last 24 hours, the highest this year. Earlier on Saturday, 24,882 cases of the corona were reported. With this, the number of cases of infection has increased to 1,13,59,048 in the country.

In the last 24 hours, 161 people have died from covid-19 in the country, bringing the number of deaths due to infection to 1,58,607 in the country. Currently, the number of active cases in India is 2,10,544. Meanwhile, 16,637 people have been cured of covid in one day in the country and 1,09,89,897 people have been cured of covid in the country so far. The country's recovery rate has come down to 96.82%. In this central, Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, and Karnataka, there has been a steady increase in daily cases of corona infection.

Concern for the second wave of corona in the country: 85.6 percent of cases of infection in the country have been registered in these states. On Saturday, 15,602 people were found infected with covid and 7,467 patients recovered and 88 died. So far, 22.97 lakh people have been affected by the infection in the state. Of these, 21.25 lakh patients have been cured, while 52,811 infected have lost their lives. Currently, 1.18 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
