Like other states of India, the number of corona positive patients is increasing gradually in Bihar. However, the situation in the state is under control due to the efforts of the government. After the confirmation of another case of coronavirus infection in Bhagalpur district, the number of people infected with this disease has increased to 32 in the state. At the same time, a patient resident of Munger died on 21 March.

On this matter, Principal Secretary (Health) of the Health Department, Sanjay Kumar said on Saturday that a person resident of Naugachia of Bhagalpur has been confirmed to be infected with coronavirus. He said that the 65-year-old man had returned home from Britain on March 18. Also, 7 persons have been found infected with one corona each in Bihar, 7 in Munger district, 6 in Siwan, 5 in Patna and Gaya, 3 in Gopalganj, 2 in Nalanda, Lakhisarai, Begusarai, Saran and Bhagalpur. So far, 2292 suspected samples of coronavirus have been investigated in Bihar, of which 2257 negatives have been found so far.

A patient from Munger who returned from Qatar who died in Patna AIIMS on March 21, came in contact with 64 persons in the past, out of which 55 samples were sent to RMRI for examination. Of this, 11 coronaviruses have been found to be confined so far. Two corona-infected patients have also been cured in Bihar, who have been discharged from the hospital.
