There is a shortage of space for keeping dead bodies in Mortuary. Therefore, 10 tombs have been excavated on the demand of the local people.

About 45 bodies have been buried in the last 20 days in Noorani Cemetery located in Chandan Nagar, Indore. In view of the infection in this city that has become a hotspot of Corona, the administration fears that the death toll may also increase rapidly. In such a situation, there may be a shortage of graves to bury the dead bodies. Because of this, this step is being taken.

Most of the 6 feet deep tombs are dug to bury the dead. But, for the people who died due to coronavirus infection, its depth has been increased to 10 feet. In view of the inconvenience caused by human labour in digging the 10 feet deep graves, 10 feet graves were dug with the help of Pokeland machine three days ago. Due to the increase in the number of dead, 13 bodies have been buried in the cemetery from Thursday to Saturday. After which, today the tombs will be excavated with the help of the Pokeland machine. In this, 8 bodies are buried on Thursday, 3 on Friday and 2 on Saturday.
