Goa government on Sunday launched the 'COVID-Locator' app, a GPS-based location tracker that will help the government keep an eye on the quarantined people.

For your information, let us tell you that with the help of this app, suspects of deadly virus will be tracked. As soon as they try to break the quarantine rules and come out of the house, information about them will be reached through the app. This initiative was taken to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the state.

In an official statement about the app, it said that to keep our citizens safe, we are starting a 'COVID-locator' to track suspects from outside the home. The Goa Health Ministry collaborated with Intujin to launch the GPS-based location tracker. The app is available for download on Android's Playstore. Goa's health department said on Saturday that there are seven positive coronavirus cases in the state so far.
