Coronavirus cases in India are increasing very fast because of which the government of many states have taken tough steps. Due to the threat of Coronavirus, all tourist places in Meghalaya have been closed till 31 March and it is expected that this date can be extended till 15 March.

In addition to this, such steps are being taken in other states of the country. Many people have been forbidden to gather at one place, due to which many wedding ceremonies have also been postponed.

Regarding the matter, Director of Information and Public Relations, Meghalaya said that due to Coronavirus, all tourist places have been closed till 31 March and they are expected to be closed till 15 March. All tourists have been requested to reschedule their journey.
