The price of masks has increased in many places in the country. The reason for this increase is the coronavirus. The virus has increased the demand for masks and sanitizers. Inmates of Central Jail in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar are making masks to protect against coronavirus and for this they are working for more than the prescribed hours.

According to the media report, however, no case of infection with coronavirus has come to the fore in Bihar and the state government has also given strict instructions to people to stay in homes for most of the time. But this state, which lost about 200 children due to brain fever last year, does not want to leave any stone unturned to be vigilant about the coronavirus.

About 50 prisoners are making masks in Muzaffarpur Central Jail to protect against the virus. Also, working longer than the scheduled time for their work. The purpose of working longer is to make masks for the safety of their prisoners in this jail and in other jails. Jail Deputy Superintendent Sunil Kumar Maurya said that there has been a tradition of preparing cloth in this prison. This led to the idea that why not use the skills to make masks. The demand for masks is high as there is less supply.
