Referring to the 88 percent revenue deficit of India's state Punjab in April, Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that the state did not receive any income from various tax revenues during this period. At present only about 1.5 part of the total industrial units is functional. Punjab is facing difficult financial conditions due to lack of assistance from the Center.
