The Azad Nagar colony of Dehradun, which was sealed after the coronavirus infection came to light, has been freed from the cantonment zone. On Monday, the District Magistrate, Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava, issued the order after the report of the Chief Medical Officer. It may be noted that on April 20 last month, a Corona positive case was reported in Azad Nagar Colony. After which it was sealed. Community inspection of the people was done daily for 28 days.
No cases of coronavirus were reported. After which the District Magistrate decided to exclude the Azad Nagar Colony area from the Cantonment Zone. The District Magistrate, Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava said that if the matter is not revealed within the next few days in the previously banned colonies, then the 28-day deadline is met. They will be excluded from the cantonment zone.
For your information, let us tell you that these colonies were sealed after the Corona positive case came. After which the commuters were banned. Necessary items were being supplied here by the district administration. Dehradun- Lakkhibag Muslim Basti, Kargi Grant Basti, Bhagat Singh Colony, Azad Nagar Colony.
