Kabul: Afghanistan has retaliated on the allegations of the Taliban. Afghanistan has said that India is very important for it. In fact, the Taliban political chief had said in a statement that India has always supported the traitors in this South Asian country.

On this, Afghanistan Foreign Ministry spokesman Gran Hewad replied that, 'India has been the biggest donor to Afghanistan. It has greatly assisted in the development and reconstruction of Afghanistan. We appreciate India's cooperation. Speaking about the importance of India, Gran Hewad said, "We hope that India and other neighboring countries will play a greater role in the Afghanistan peace process."

Let me tell you that this support of Afghanistan for India has come at a time when US Special Representative Zalmay Khalizad is saying that New Delhi should talk to Taliban. However, Suhail Shaheen, a spokesman for the Taliban's political office, has said that his organization would like to have a positive relationship with India and would welcome New Delhi's cooperation in Afghanistan.
