Fear of COVID-19 has caused outrage all over the country, while flu centers will be set up in other hospitals including CHC, PHC and state allopathic hospital, district hospital, base hospital to deal with coronavirus. Apart from this, Asha will now get a new responsibility. They will be provided with other facilities including PPE kits, globs, masks and sanitizers.

In addition, they will take corona samples of patients with cough, cold and fever. Health Secretary Amit Negi has ordered district collectors and CMOs of all districts to this effect. In the district, 1100 ASHAs will get the responsibility to sample and 54 flu centers will be established in CHC, HC etc. The contract of NHM personnel will be increased. Three hundred NHM personnel are working in Nainital district. At the same time, these personnel have also been engaged in conducting important schemes of the Health Department.

For your information, let us tell you that Health Secretary Amit Negi told that all the CMOs have been given powers to extend the contract of NHM personnel by February 2021. A budget of 150 crores has been given in medicine and health. Apart from this, funds have been allocated to all DMs from Chief Minister Relief Fund.
