As of Sunday afternoon, 36 new cases of corona infection have been reported in Uttarakhand. After this, the number of infected patients has now reached 1341 in the state. In the investigation report, 1118 samples have been found negative. At the same time, 498 infected patients have been sent home after treatment. Additional Secretary Health Couple Kishore Pant said that there are still 824 active cases. According to the report received by the Health Department, 23 cases have been reported in Dehradun, 19 in Haridwar, two in Pauri, eight in Tehri.

Two Corona-infected patients have died in Dehradun on Saturday night and Sunday morning. At the same time, 13 infected patients have been killed in the state so far. The pace of sampling has decreased even after the facility of lab to check for corona infection in the state. For three days only 500 to 600 samples are being sent to the state for examination. Earlier more than one thousand samples were being taken in a day. For prevention of coronas infection, the government has also directed to increase sampling.

Along with this, the Health Department has signed an MoU with Chandigarh Private Lab for sample testing after the lab started in IIP Dehradun. Currently, Chandigarh's lab sample testing agreement has been signed with five government labs, a private pathology lab in the state. Anoop Nautiyal, president of the Social Development for Community Foundation, which is studying the Corona data, says the assessment of samples being taken daily in the state On doing this, the investigation has come to a standstill. There has been a decrease in the number of samples sent for examination in the last three days. He said that there should be a strategy to increase sampling at this time. Work should be done on the target of 1200 to 1500 samples per day.
