A youth died in the Quarantine Center in Pauri district of Uttarakhand on Monday. It was told that the youth had been suffering from chest disease for a long time. The man is a resident of Birgana village and was sent to the Quarantine Center late at 12 pm on Sunday. The young man had returned from Faridabar. This morning when his health deteriorated, he was brought to the Primary Health Center Badgers by ambulance. The young man died here.

Dr. Shailendra Rawat of the community health center Birkhal says that the case history of the deceased showed that the young man had been suffering from chest disease for a long time. Earlier on Sunday, an elderly woman died of an asthma attack during quarantine in Kotdwar. An elderly woman who returned from Delhi died during quarantine in a village in the Rikhanikhal development block in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand. According to the information, a 77-year-old woman came to Uttarakhand from Burari in Delhi with family a few days ago.

The woman was quarantined in a ward in a junior high school due to her coming from Delhi. It is being told that the woman was perfectly fine till late Saturday evening. Medical Officer-in-Charge Rikhanikhal Dr. Rashid Khan said that he died due to asthma attack and his body was handed over to the family on the request of the parents not to do post mortem. Tehsildar Sohan Singh Aswal said that while coming to Kotdwar from Delhi, thermal screening of all people was done in Kotdwar, in which the health of all was normal.
