Dehradun: The government and the health ministry have been relieved due to low covid speed in Uttarakhand. In the last 24 hours on Sunday, nine patients lost their lives and 221 were found infected. The total number of infections has gone up to 60376. According to health ministry data, 6081 sample checks have been found negative on Sunday. The highest 89 covid patients have been found in Dehradun district. 30 in Haridwar, 22 in Rudraprayag, 21 in Nainital, 13 in Pauri, 13 in Chamoli, nine in Uttarkashi, eight in Udham Singh Nagar, eight in Champawat, six in Tehri, one corona infected patients in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar districts have been found.
It is also learnt that nine corona infected patients have lost their lives in the state. Four patients have succumbed to the AIIMS at Rishikesh, one at Kailash Hospital, one at Medicity Hospital Rudrapur, two at District Hospital Udham Singh Nagar and one at Sushila Tiwari Medical College, Haldwani. The death toll has gone up to 993. As per information received, 319 patients were discharged. These have been merged with 54488 patients. For the first time, the recovery rate of the state has gone up to more than 90%. At present, 4425 active patients are being treated.
Sample tests increased, infected cases reduced: The results of the last one week on corona in the state are going to be relieved. Most of the sample tests have been conducted so far in 7 days. In comparison, infected cases have decreased. The rate of infection has been 2.95 per cent on the basis of total sample testing in one week. The corona transition period in the state has gone up to 32 weeks i.e. 224 days. Most of the 85110 samples have been tested in this state. 2507 people have been found infected with covid. The number of sample tests in the earlier week has been less than 85 thousand and infected cases were found to be more. However, the recovery rate has been lower this week as compared to the previous week. In the 31st week where 4634 patients were cured. In the 32nd week, 3349 patients were discharged.
