India's current PM Narendra Modi said, 'Our planet COVID 19 is battling Novell Coronavirus. At various levels, governments and people are trying their best to counter it. South Asia, where the world lives in a large population, should leave no stone unturned to ensure that our people are healthy.

According to the media report, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said in the state assembly that the state cabinet met this morning and COVID 19 has been declared as a 'disaster' of the state under the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005. At the same time, in view of the coronavirus in Odisha, all educational institutions will remain closed till 31 March. Schools have been allowed to conduct exams. The cinema hall, swimming pool and gym will also be closed till 31 March.
