Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Narendra Modi, along with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is taking every step at a step to curb the infection of the growing coronavirus in India. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has decided to extend the lockdown in Uttar Pradesh by April 30, after consideration of meeting with his core team today after video conferencing with PM Modi on Saturday. In Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Maharashtra, the lockdown period has been extended till April 30 before Uttar Pradesh.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired a high-level meeting at his residence on Sunday on the rising infection of the coronavirus. After the meeting, it was decided that the lockdown will be extended in Uttar Pradesh by 30 April. During this time also the districts are divided into two classes. Lockdown will remain in all districts of the state till April 30. There are districts in A category where not a single corona positive case has been found till 14 April. In class B, there will be districts where positive cases have been met or there is a possibility of meeting more by 14 April.

Let us tell you that some concessions will be given in A category districts. In B class districts, the ban will continue completely. Any movement in areas with marked hotspots in B category districts will be completely banned. Here the administration will make arrangements for ration and other important items. By April 30, there will be a ban on the submission of more than five people anywhere in the state and section 144 will remain in force. It will be mandatory to wear masks in public places throughout the state till 31 May and the policy of social distancing will also remain in force till this date. The boundaries of class B districts will remain sealed and the transport of goods will also not be within the boundaries of the districts. Concession in transportation can be granted in class A districts with the permission of the Collector. There will be no movement between class A and class B districts. Currently applicable passes will be valid. Health test etc. will continue.
