Online application process for permission to open industries starts in 11 identified sectors

The online application process has started in the Department of Industries from Saturday to open industries in a period of ongoing lockdown to prevent the corona epidemic from spreading.


The government has agreed to allow only the industries of 11 identified sectors in the state to start production. Industries established in the entire state of these areas will have to apply online for opening permission from April 20.

The central government has extended the lockdown until May 3 in view of the Corona infection. Meanwhile, exemption has to be given after April 20 to open industries in 11 different sectors. The guidelines issued for the prevention of Kovid 19 to open industries will have to be fully followed. Industry Director Sudhir Chandra Nautiyal said that after 20 April, the industries in the identified sector will have to apply online to start production.

For your information, let us tell you that the application process has been started on the investuttarakhand.com portal from Saturday. All industries will have to apply on this portal. After which permission will be given through the District Magistrate. Let us tell you that more than 60 thousand MSMEs and more than three hundred big industries are closed in the state due to the lockdown. The government has agreed to start production to one thousand industries producing essential commodities.
