On Wednesday, Karnataka Health Minister B Sriramulu said that an old woman, who had recently returned from Mecca and had come home from March 15 in Chikkaballapur, has died. However, the woman's corona virus test is still awaited.

Regarding this death, the minister said that the 75-year-old woman died on Tuesday and Wednesday at around 1 pm. He also said that his COVID-19 exam result is still awaited.

Number of corona patients increased in Punjab

In her statement further Sriramulu said that she was suffering from diabetes, chest pain and hip fracture. The cause of death will be confirmed after the medical examination report. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Affairs, there have been 41 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Karnataka.
