The veteran batsman of his time, Sachin Tendulkar, appealed to people to take the instructions of 'lockdown' seriously and warned that 'If the corona virus is a fire, we are the air to spread it.' There was a worldwide shutdown due to Corona virus and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday announced a 21-day 'lockdown' in his address to the nation.
For the information, let us tell that on this matter, Tendulkar said that it is disappointing that some people are not taking this banding seriously. He said in a video released on Twitter, 'Our government and health experts from all over the world have urged us to stay at home and we do not go out unless there is an emergency. But still people are not taking it seriously. I have also seen some videos in which people are still playing cricket outside.
The batsman who has scored the most runs in international cricket said, 'Everyone wants us to go out, meet friends, play games but it is very harmful for the country right now. Remember these days are not holidays. If the coronavirus is fire, then we are the air to spread it. The only way to stop this virus is that we all live in our homes. Tendulkar said that he has not been out of the house for the last ten days and he will continue on this for the next 21 days as this is the only way to save society, country and the world at the present time.
