The epidemic corona infection in the country is spreading at a rapid pace, but at the same pace the government is also taking adequate steps to control it. Corona testing in India is increasing at a great speed. More than 8 lakh people have been tested in a day. According to the information given by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, Corona Testing of 8 lakh 48 thousand 728 people has been done in the country. The number of corona trials in India has reached 2 crore 76 lakh 94 thousand 416.
64,553 new cases of corona infection have been registered in 24 hours in the country, and with this the total number of cases of infection has increased to 24 lakh 61 thousand 191. The number of people recovering from infection has exceeded 10 lakhs. Maximum 55,574 patients have been healthy in the last 24 hours. So far 17 lakh 51 thousand 556 people in India have been free from infection after treatment.
Out of 1,007 deaths a day due to corona infection in India, the highest number of deaths occurred in Maharashtra, 413 people lost their lives in 24 hours. This was followed by 119 deaths in Tamil Nadu, 103 deaths in Karnataka, 82 deaths in Andhra Pradesh, 56 deaths in West Bengal, 50 deaths in Uttar Pradesh, 31 deaths in Punjab, 18 people in Gujarat, 17 deaths in Madhya Pradesh, 14 deaths in Delhi, 12 deaths in Jharkhand, 11-11 deaths in Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan, 10 in Bihar, 9 in Odisha and Telangana. 9, 8–8 in Assam and Haryana, 6 in Puducherry, 5 in Chhattisgarh, 3–3 in Kerala and Uttarakhand, 2–2 in Goa and Tripura while Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Manipur have 1-1 people died.
