Corona infection is spreading very fast in India. Everyone is trying to overcome it. Cleanliness has an important role in the prevention of corona epidemic. Due to the urge for cleanliness, the use of hand sanitizer among people has also increased a lot. However, experts say that hand sanitizer should be used only when soap and water are not available. Too much use of sanitizer can cause harm.

In many studies, it has been found that due to the high amount of alcohol in the hand sanitizer, it is capable of killing the virus. However, later studies have also shown side effects of its excessive use. It has been found that excessive use of sanitizer can cause dryness, itching and many other problems in the hands. Dr Alok Dhawan of CSIR-Institute of Toxicology Research said, 'Hand sanitizer should be used with care. Use it only when soap and water are not available. There is no harm with the use of two to three millilitres of sanitizer, but it is not right to keep using the sanitizer every 20 minutes. Too much use of anything has a bad effect.

Various measures are being adopted to avoid infection in coronavirus crisis. Vegetables, fruits and other food and other ingredients are also being sanitized from the sanitizer commonly used to sanitize the hands. While doing so is fatal. By sanitizing the food and drink items with this type of sanitizer, people may have health problems. Professor Sonu Goyal of PGI Chandigarh's Department of Community Medicine and School of Public Health, says that regular sanitizer can be used only to sanitize things made with hands and metals.
