The 2014 Bangladesh Premier League T20 tournament was canceled due to alleged allegations of match-fixing. A similar case of corruption in Bangladesh came to light in 2017 when the bowler, in a second-class match, conceded 92 runs in the first over, throwing consecutive wide and no hair and the team lost the match. The team, however, said that this was done due to the umpire's partisan attitude.
