Indore: In the high profile Hiren Patel murder case of Gujarat, the Ahmedabad Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested the accused Irfan from Khajrana area of ​​Indore on Tuesday (March 19) evening. Police and ATS were searching for him for a long time. Irfan, originally a resident of Mahidpur in Ujjain district, was working in Shubh-Labh Tower. ATS had raided Khajrana on the basis of mobile surveillance.

It is noteworthy that councilor of Jhalod Municipality of Gujarat, Hiren Patel, lost his life in a road accident. Dahod Crime Branch and Panchmahal Cyber ​​Cell started investigating the case. According to the police, when Mohammad Sameer, Sajjan Singh alias Karan, Irfan, Ajay were arrested, it was revealed that Hiren Patel was murdered by Amit Katara, son of former Dahod MP Babubhai Katara, after paying him. The main mastermind in this case was Imran Gudala. After which the case was given to ATS and Gudala was caught from Haryana. After this he revealed the name of Irfan of Mahidpur during interrogation.

After the murder, Irfan first fled to Ujjain and then started living comfortably in Khajrana, Indore. Ahmedabad ATS kept its entire operation secret and instead of local police, Indore ATS commandos were taken along in the mission. Along with Inspector VN Baghela, cyber experts had also come to conduct the raid. The search went on for hours in Khajrana area, after which Irfan was caught. Khajrana ACP team was kept alert with uniform and weapons for emergency. Khajrana TI Sujit Srivastava has confirmed the arrest of Irfan.
