A recent incident in Dharmavaram, Anantapur district, turned into a tragedy. Faniraj and Sirisha, a couple from Therubazar who after conquering the epidemic when came home, jumped from upstairs and committed suicide. They have a 12-year-old son. Although, Faniraj is dumb but earns his living by trading jaggery as a business that he inherited from his father. Due to corona, he was struggling with financial issues. He then set up a grocery store near his home to earn a living because his business was not enough to feed his family.

Man blackmails girl to have illicit relations

Ten days ago, Faniraj's mother Varalakshmi fell ill and lost her life. Then, Faniraj and Sirisha tested positive for the disease. They were immediately evacuated to the COVID Care Center. They were discharged two days ago after recovering from the pandemic. They sold one of their houses due to losses in the jaggery business but could not pay all their debts. While recovering from the ordeal, when he returned home after defeating the disease, he was harassed by neighbors and relatives on a constant basis. 

After knowing about wife's illicit affair husband killed her

They were upset with the situations that were prevailing and had no option. The son was sent to his grandfather's home. Then, the couple jumped down from the building where their residence was located on Sunday morning. Faniraj died on the spot when jumped. Sirisha died while she was being treated at the government hospital.
