New Delhi: Maharashtra has the highest number of cases of omicrons and is now gradually becoming the hot spot of The Omicron. The health department here has feared an increase in the case of omicrons in the coming month of January, and since then there has been a growing fear that a new wave of omicrons may occur in Maharashtra in January. In view of this, the restrictions on corona have been increased in Mumbai. In view of The New Year and Christmas in Mumbai, Section 144 has been imposed from 16th to 31st December.

Now, people have been allowed to come to any major event at the capacity of 50 percent. Similarly, restrictions have been imposed in the capital Delhi till December 31 amid fears of an increase in cases due to the New year and Christmas. Only 50 percent of the people in bars and restaurants have been allowed to sit here. Looking at this, it can be said that many states have come into the alert mode with regard to omicron. On the other hand, the Central Government has also stepped up preparations. Amidst the increasing cases of omicrons, the Centre has advised all states to conduct mock drills of oxygen plants to ensure that they are fully operational or not.

In addition, the Central Government will also review the Corona Vaccination Plan by the end of the year to discuss vaccination of children and booster doses to adults. All that in view of the omicron, the discussion of booster doses is gaining momentum in India also. The government's priority now is to increase the second dose of the vaccine. The question right now is, is booster dose necessary to prevent omicrons? In that case, the answer may be received soon.
