Coonoor: A youth infected with omicrons in Kerala has broken the Covid protocol and reached the market including malls, restaurants. The administration was rocked after the infected youth visited the market.  The administration is now busy preparing a list of people who have come in contact with the youth. The biggest challenge for the administration is the shops where the infected youth went to the mall and how many people have come in contact with him. At the same time, there was so much crowd around the restaurant where he had eaten.

Health Minister Veena George has said that the department will issue route mats of the youth and those in touch with him will be requested to contact the health ministry at the earliest and get the covid tested. He has said that it is very important to follow the necessary protocols regularly when infected with the omicron variant. Experts say the omicron variant spreads very fast. Omicron delta is many times more powerful than variants. Where it is also being said that this variant can engulf the entire community simultaneously.

With this, the total infected figure has gone up to 51,95,997 and the death toll has gone up to 43,946.
