On Tuesday, the Union Ministry of Health, Ministry of Home Affairs, and ICMR held a joint press conference. During this time, the most talked-about corona situation in the country. Information related to the corona investigation was also given and other topics were also discussed. During this, Rajesh Bhushan spoke on behalf of the Ministry of Health. In his conversation, he said that 'Coronavirus control situation in India is much better'. He talked about the increasing cases. He further said, '86% of the total corona cases in the country are limited to only 10 states. Two of these states are Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu which have 50% cases.'

During this time he also said, 'The number of people recovering from corona in the country is increasing. The number of corona cases per 10 lakh population in India is 657. We are among the countries in which the cases of coronavirus infection per 10 lakh population are the lowest.' He said, 'The recovery rate in Uttar Pradesh is 64%. It is 67% in Odisha, 65% in Assam, 70% in Gujarat, and 65% recovery rate from Corona in Tamil Nadu.

He also said, 'In March the rate of increase of daily cases of corona was about 31%, in May this rate was increased to 9%. By the end of May, this rate had come down to 5%. According to the data of July 12, this rate is 3.24%.
