Lohardaga: A shocking incident of ATM thieves has been seen in Lohardaga, Jharkhand. Thieves broke into axis bank's ATM cabin at Block Mor in Lohardaga town at around 2:30 am on October 17-18 and poured cow dung on the CCTV camera. After that, he tried to steal the money by breaking the ATM. However, the thieves could not succeed in their plans. But the act of planting cow dung on CCTV for fear of being caught is surprising everyone.

Let me tell you, these days the incidents of theft have increased a lot in Lohardaga. Lohardaga police have also caught some miscreants with the help of CCTV. Therefore, before committing the crime, the thieves first made a plane to cover the CCTV and used cow dung for this. Police Inspector Pankaj Kumar Sharma, who is investigating the case, said that the thieves smeared the CCTV with cow dung to hide their identity and deeds. ATMs have also been damaged. The police will take further action after taking complete information from the ATM operator.

The same ATM where the theft attempt was made is on the side of the highway. There are also many government offices around it. The ATM is in the same building where the office of Bank of India and LIC is located. The audacity and deed of thieves remain a matter of news in the district. Lohardaga police are appealing to the common people and especially businessmen to install CCTV in their shops and establishments in view of the increasing incidents of theft.
