Jaipur: In a horrific incident, a 35-year-old woman, who had gone to buy food, was allegedly gang-raped by  five men in Jaipur on Thursday night. The incident took place near the Jaipur Junction Railway station. The woman had reportedly gone out to bring food for her husband, who was drunk.

The five miscreants watched her and reportedly took her forcibly near the railway track. As per reports, they tore up her clothes and then raped her one by one. The woman was somehow able to reach the GRP Station half-naked. The police firstly provided her with clothes. After that, they also registered a case. A special team of the Commissionerate also reached the spot after learning about the incident.

Despite being partially naked, the woman managed to get to the GRP Station. She was first given clothing by the cops. Following that, they also filed a complaint. After hearing about the occurrence, a special team from the Commissionerate also arrived at the scene.

Officers from the Forensic Science Laboratory Division (FSL) arrived on the scene. They received details on the potential culprits from the victim woman. Additionally, the crew gathered data at the scene. Since then, the police have carried out many searches throughout the city without making any arrests.

The govt Railway Police also issued a statement regarding the incident and informed about the investigation which reads: "Yesterday, a 35-year-old woman is said to have been raped close to Jaipur Junction train station. The crime scene has been investigated by the Police and FSL teams."
