Lucknow: A waterway has been announced between Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra. To promote religious tourism, travel can be done through cruises between these three shrines. The announcement was made by the Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal in Mathura, the city of Sri Krishna.
Union Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal had reached the Shankaracharya program in Govardhan, Mathura. Sonowal was asked by Shankaracharya Adhokshjanand Dev Teerth here what steps his department was taking to promote tourism in Mathura-Vrindavan. Responding to this question, Union Minister Sonowal said that the cruise will be run in the Yamuna river between Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra. He said that due to the cruise, the tourist coming to Agra will also come to Mathura-Vrindavan. At the same time, tourists will get a different experience from the waterway, as well as increase religious tourism.
Along with this, the Union Minister said that UP CM Yogi Adityanath has also been talked about preparing a waterway between the three places. The project will be launched soon. Due to this tourism will increase here. Minister Sonowal has also taken information from his department officials regarding the 'Har Ghar Jal Project' of the Center released here.
