In the Corona era, the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) Lucknow has approved a clinical trial of the antiviral drug umifenovir (Umifenovi) for the treatment of patients with corona virus. The third phase will be tested at King George's Medical University (KGMU), Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) and ERA's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Lucknow.
