The very next day after CM Yogi's visit, the notorious Furkan of Kairana surrendered before the court after getting bail. In August 2014, after the murder of business leader Vinod Singhal, the notorious crook Furkan appeared before the court after he was granted bail in the case.
CM Yogi had met the families of traders killed by criminals in Kairana and assured them of justice. In fact, on August 16, 2014, Vinod Singhal, treasurer of the board of trade, was publicly killed at a shop in the Bazaar Begumpura.
