Cyber security will now be taught in this university

Jamtara: Jamtara in Jharkhand has been the centre of news across the country for cyber crime and cyber fraud. There have been countless incidents of people being duped from there through the internet and money being siphoned off from their accounts in a jiffy. Almost every state police have investigated in Jamtara about a case. Therefore, the study of cyber security has now started at Ranchi University. Governor Ramesh Bais, who arrived for the launch of its course, said that they are so afraid of cyber fraud that they only use cell phones to make incoming and outgoing calls.

Due to this, the Governor said that cyber fraud is happening by adopting many types of tactics through the Internet. Cyber experts are needed on a large scale to curb this. People also need to be careful. They have to identify spam calls for KYC updates or anything else. Problems like online fraud blackmailing and hacking have become common.

He said that cybercriminals are blowing money by saying that people's accounts should be updated, and accounts will be blocked. Cybercriminals are adopting a variety of tactics. By sending links related to winning the prize, they trap the common people in their trap. Nowadays, there is a need to be cautious while shopping online. There is no need to fall into the greed of useless links. The Governor said that the new curriculum will be able to provide better employment opportunities and will open new dimensions of employment. It will also help in controlling a global challenge like cybercrime. The course will also contribute significantly to making cell phone users aware. The first objective of cyber security is to provide security to the common citizen on the Internet. As much as the internet makes life simpler, it can also cause harm. These points in the cyber security curriculum require intensive research, he said. Challenges like cybercrime can be faced through high-level scientific research. On the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, efforts should be made to utilize the mental capacity of the people involved in cybercrime for human interest. This course is very important in Jharkhand. If there can be a crime in Jamtara, then experts can also stop it sitting in Ranchi.
