Mumbai: In a bizarre case, a man was jailed for one-and-a-half years for a minor error (Typo) while typing on a computer in the office. Now the Bombay High Court has ordered the Maharashtra government to pay a compensation of Two lakh rupees to the man.

Let us tell you that this case is related to a minor typing mistake in a chemical analyser report. In this case, a Nigerian man was mistakenly sent to jail for one and a half years. The court of Justice Bharati Dengre has given this order to the Maharashtra government. So in this case, government pleader AA Takalkar forbade any such policy.  

On this, the court strongly reprimanded him and said that whenever it comes to the rights of the common people or compensation has to be paid, it is said that there is no policy. The court said that it will order compensation in this case. What more investigation remains? In this case, the officer made a mistake and the compensation amount should be recovered from the erring officer.
