Kanchipuram: A fire broke out at an e-bike service center in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. In this case, 40 e-bikes were burnt to ashes. This has caused a loss of about Rs 30 lakh. The incident took place late on Saturday night.

A fire broke out at a service center in Yerikrai Sundara Vinayakar Nagar town of Kanchipuram. At least 40 motorcycles were gutted in the accident that took place late on Saturday night. The villagers informed the police and the fire department, who managed to douse the fire after an hour's effort. But the fire destroyed 40 e-bikes that were left there for service, causing a loss of Rs 30 lakh.   

A video of the incident has also surfaced. It can be seen that flames are coming out of the service center and firefighters are trying to control the fire. After a long time, the fire was brought under control with the help of the people of the village. However, when the employees went inside the center, all the e-bikes were burnt there. The police have launched an investigation into the incident, but the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
