On Day 6 of CWG Gold Coast, Australia India again scripted gold history as after the ninth series, Heena Sidhu remains in gold medal position with 34 points at Women’s 25m pistol final event. She finished with 38 points and creates a Games Record.Heena Shoots 3 in the last round and the lead is down to two. Galiabovitch was the other competitor in the event while Azahari of Malaysia is eliminated and got the bronze medal.

Earlier Heena won silver in Women’s 10m pistol event.India claimed 3 gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze in shooting till now.

For the gold medal, Heena Sidhu shoots - 00X00 – 38 while Elena Galiabovitch shoots - X000X – 35.

In the eighth series, Heena Sidhu hits 4/5 and Rabinovitch hits 4/5. Heena continued to lead by 3 points - 31 as against Elena's 28. Alia Sazana Azahari of Malaysia is on 24.

On the other hand, Gagan Narang and Chain Singh failed to increase India’s medal tally in Men’s 50m rifle prone event in Gold Coast. While the former 8-time CWG gold medalists finished in the 7th position, Chain Singh finished in 4th after a good start.
